The VD-104R is to be used with the VD-104 which is a handy kit to add to many systems.

The VD-104 Kit not only splits your VGA output into 5 outputs, but 4 of the outputs will be changed to UTP (unshielded twisted pair) with an RJ45 connection so you can send the signal up to 1000' away through CAT5e cable with ease. This kit includes the splitter and one receiver. When you have need for multiple monitors showing the images of your DVR, just pick up this kit along with the receivers needed and you are all set.
